A busy mum of two spent two weeks with Samsung’s new Micro RGB TV, testing its picture quality and AI features in a family home. The living room TV serves as the central hub of their home, so she was eager to see if the new Samsung 55” Micro RGB R85H 4K Vision AI Smart TV would fit into their daily routine.
Setting up the TV was surprisingly painless, thanks to the QR code on the screen that allowed her to sync it with her Samsung smartphone in minutes. The TV also instantly synced with her other Samsung devices.
Picture Quality and Interface
The interface is intuitive enough that her sons could pick it up straight away without asking for help. What impressed her immediately was the screen’s colour performance, which is sharper, brighter, and stronger than their current LG TV.

Samsung uses Micro RGB technology, which replaces standard backlights with tiny, dedicated red, green, and blue LEDs alongside precise local dimming. This gives extremely rich, accurate shades without ruining dark shadows, and covers 100% of the BT.2020 colour space.
AI Features and Smart Household Convenience
The AI features, including the Vision AI Companion, gave them a bit of a headache at first, but by the second week, things clicked. The AI companion became her favourite feature, allowing her to ask for recommendations on music or K-dramas, and responding remarkably fast with text answers and video clips.
The Samsung 55” Micro RGB R85H 4K 55” is the smallest size available at the moment, and is priced at $2,999 from Samsung itself. With its striking picture quality and helpful AI features, it has become a central part of their family home.
