A new awards program recognizing innovation in office design and sustainability attracted an overwhelming response in its first year. The judging panel selected winners based on design innovation, functionality, sustainability, user experience, and more.
The OnOffice Product Awards showcased products that combined aesthetic appeal with functional and sustainable features.
In the workspace furniture category, Your Workpod Smart won for its acoustic panels made from recycled plastic bottles and its thoughtfully designed interior. The judges also commended Hushoffice’s hushFree.S.Hybrid for its smart ventilation and support for inclusivity and neurodiversity.
Humanscale secured two awards: one for the Float Adjustable Collaborative Tables, which received praise for their effortless counterbalance height adjustment and clean, adaptable design, and another for the World Chair, noted for its intuitive ergonomics and lightweight, pared-back design. Knoll’s Biboni Sofa earned special recognition for its sculptural silhouette and inviting ergonomics.
Leandesk also earned a recognition for its thoughtful blend of creativity and contemporary form.
Within textiles, Ultrafabrics’ Volar Bio led the field with its commitment to renewable materials and reduced environmental footprint. Arper UK’s Catifa (RE) 46 was similarly recognized for its use of recycled materials and thoughtful approach to circular design.
Established brands like Herman Miller, with its Mirra 2 desk, also earned awards. The overall trend reflected a stronger emphasis on sustainability, with winners balancing performance with environmental considerations.
In the flooring category, Shaw Contract’s Creative Connections Carpet Tile Collection won for its rich textural detailing and flexible modularity, while Amtico Signature’s Designers’ Choice was highly commended for its refined, pre-curated patterns and exceptional design precision.
